Hello there!

After working on The Rogue Prince of Persia for 4 years as Game Director & Lead Dev for Lucie, and Producer for me, we needed to go back to something smaller, more human size, where you can just focus on make games and not worry about anything else.

With more than a decade of experience in the game's industry, we decided to found Falling leaves Studio to try an make things a little different... well... no shit! Like everyone else out there right? So, HOW different?

Falling Leaves focuses on making small games. The kind that you can enjoy and finish in one sitting. The kind that you remember. Personal games, made with what we have, mostly love and friends..

• Small team
Only ~4 people, including our two regular freelancers, Clemisoft (development) and Thumbless (sound), plus additional friends when the project requires it.
• Small production
We try to keep the whole production cycle under a year top, aiming for 6-8 months of development.
For example, MyDear.exe, our first game, took 8 months.
• Small prices
Scaling down production means we don't need shit tons of sales to break even and earn a reasonable wage to keep making games as a living. That keeps our prices fairly low, (especially during sales 😉), because we think video games should be accessible to everyone.

Oh gosh that's longer than I expected... sorry about that. If you came this far, well, thanks a lot for your interest in our work!
And if you want more you can check out our socials. 😃
